The paintings are made / performed in different houses of Österby farm in a studio under the roof of an old barn. In another outbuilding I work with stones and concrete. In the summer the gallery will be open for some weeks. Galleri Kedja has now been in place for 23 years and still is one of the most beautiful galleries on the isalnd, its blue floor floating as the Baltic Sea and its windows in the large doors used for huge cartloads of hay. Everything is getting old and worn but it is also my wish that we will grow old together.
I also have a small space called Åsa Bio (Cinema Åsa) in that little corner you can enjoy my DVD films, nowadays quite many. In the horse stable and outside in the surroundings I have placed the sculptures. The pieces I have created have found its space on the farm among greenhouses, garden plots and flower cultivations running wild.
Garda is situated at the south east side of the island of Gotland. Garda is a small parish with only about 150 inhabitants and with many ancient monuments and relics. From Visby you travel southwards around 40 kilo meters passing Roma, continuing until the road ends in a T cross. To the left is Ljugarn but you will turn right and travel through the parish of Alskog until you reach Garda. You will se two signs : Österby 2 , Galleri Kedja, and you turn right following the signs.
After 2 kilo meters you reach the next T cross and turn right and there you are.
